Fixed, A2-style rifle buttstock is the “no-profile” way to carry a spare, straight-body 20-round magazine for emergency reloads. Pull the recessed release lever on the back of the buttplate, swing open the storage compartment door, and hit the button on the right-hand side of the stock to pop out the backup magazine. A window in the side of the stock gives you an instant visual check to see if a backup mag is inside. Guide slots inside the compartment ensure the mag can be inserted only the right way. Made from solid, reinforced molded fiberglass, with a non-reflective dark gray finish, black polymer buttplate, and a fixed, steel sling loop in the toe accepts 1 ” wide slings. Fits rifles with receiver extension for A2 buttstock; kit includes buttstock spacer and screw.
